I wish AWS ReStart had been around when I was a bit 'lost'. It is one of the things that makes me most proud of being in the AWS community and choosing AWS as my primary Cloud platform for building and playing.
AWS ReStart is as important now more than ever, we have never seen such a displacement of people out of work and I love the fact that AWS has a program to allow non-technical people to get a seat at the AWS table in order to reinvent themselves.
AWS re/Start focuses on diverse learner audiences, for example, young people, military veterans, or people made redundant from non-tech careers, who are supported throughout the programme by a specialist collaborating organisation.
It is split into 2 parts, you can join as a learner or as an employer.
This training helps to prepare participants for entry-level cloud roles such as cloud operations, site reliability, infrastructure support, and technical-adjacent business support functions.
It really is an opportunity to get into that tech career that you have always wanted and to work for one of the most exciting companies on here, 2 great experiences wrapped up in one amazing programme.
Check out these 2 videos from people that have been through the programme.

If you are reading this as someone who is generally quite skilled with AWS, then have a good think about how lucky you are and then have a long think about who you know that might benefit from this program and share it, shout about it from the rooftops!
